Meet Caroline

I work at the edge of human performance, where uncertainty, pressure and change collide. I’m a psychological researcher, executive coach, and senior technology leader, specialising in how beliefs form, persist, and shape behaviour in complex systems.

I hold a degree in psychology from the Open University and have completed executive leadership development at Saïd Business School, University of Oxford. My work includes psychological research into belief, judgement, and performance, and its application in organisations, from startups to multinational corporations. I have also published novel studies on technology workers’ experiences of imposter phenomenon, and the effects of feedback on performance.

Alongside my research, I have over a decade of experience in senior technology leadership, working with leaders and organisations navigating ambiguity, power, and systemic change. As a keynote speaker, I’m trusted by organisations such as the Royal College of Surgeons of England, RICOH PLC, and Mind the Product.

In addition, I’m a startup mentor with the UK Space Agency. I’m also an analogue astronaut, with first-hand experience operating in isolated, confined and extreme (ICE) environments, translating these leadership lessons from space back to the boardroom.
